This is the genuine McLaren transmission fluid filter, but without the dealer price. :-)
O-rings are included.
Transmission service is required every 40k miles but it's quite often done early with the clutch service at 20k mile intervals since they're right next to each other.

It is very common to find the McLaren Transmission Fluids under filled, which can accelerate the rate of failure of the entire unit.
SCG ATL recommends to always check your fluid levels even if you are not due for this service!

NOTE:
The factory filled Transmission Gear fluid is PTX 75W-90 and runs about $45 per Liter
We recommend LIQUI-MOLY 75W-90 which is a superior equivalent and can be found for around $20 per Liter and is easily ordered from Amazon with free shipping.
* Supercar Garage ATL recommends to order 5 Liters of Transmission Gear Fluid (you will normally use approx. 4.5 Liters)
